From in to out

At the last yard BB hardly ever wanted to be out. Even in summer he wanted in all the time. Now at the new yard 6 1/2 months now. He doesn’t want to come in ? He is absolutely loving being out, it has been -6 and he does not want stabled ? he has to come in tonight as there is a shoot all day tomorrow. He will absolutely turn himself inside out. Theres only three more dates to go anyway so not so bad.
Honestly, I never thought he would ever want to be outside all the time. His rugs are clearly working as the frost has just been lying on top of it ?

I’ve been banned from asking for stuff for my animals ? I never want anything for myself so they wanted me to get stuff for myself this year!! So a riding jacket and all the thermal clothes in the world it was!!

Thats a good plan! Ive 400 of stuff in my hope valley basket. I might just get him to get my le mieux winter tights . I have far too much of everything lol…

I have their riding coat!! God send for this weather even if none of my horses are in work ?

To be honest, its nothing to do with that, he has no company in the stable here. So he is currently turning himself inside out ?. at the last yard he had constant company, here he doesn’t. Never bothered him all summer being in on very wet nights but is only bothering him the last month.

Normal service has resumed!!!! I have moved BB stables as a trial… 3 days ago and he literally wants back in after an hour. So safe to say he just wasnt happy ?

Do not mind him being out at night in 3/4 degrees but not lower so we are definitely both happier ?

Mine is still out 24/7 in a no-fill ? I keep telling him it's what the vet said, but he maintains he needs vast quantities of extra forage to sustain life (he's not getting it though, despite his frolicking and eye rolling)

I’ve got two out in -7 without a rug and super hairy, warm and happy? My ridden 20 year old mare has hunter clip and is in 200 combo with 50 combo on top. All out 24/7 and I’m trying to make them have some hay but most of the time, they prefer the grass?

I can see BB has lost condition just being out in the minus. So i will defo sleep better now lol . He just has his stable rug on lol
