he is now officially on his showing ladder. i have to learn how to do this clip, and keep it. it took 4 hours! he was a star and put up with it. Trimming, a bath, then finishing. he looks like a totally different dog.

My he does look smart, but he looks bemused, its like hes not sure whether he likes his new look yet, he is probabley thinking oh well it will grow back:D.

Little does he know:D

not sure he is embarrassed, just think he was refusing to stay still as fed up with the 4 hours primping! I have no belief that I can replicate that, it really is an absolute art. I took him to see his Lab best friend and she was most confused, smelled like Flodden, played like flodden........... looked like a sheep! Took about 15 mins before she decided that if it looked, and smelled and played like flodden then it must be him. Just wearing fancy dress. very very odd sharing a house with him, he is a different dog, Still my gorgeous pup, just doesn't look like him.

I cannot take the credit for the transormation, a brilliant lady and her friend in Exeter did him for me to show me exactly how to do it. They are both bedlington breeders and one of them is THE best bedlington groomer. They were amazing, a huge amount of advice and help, information on bedlington health, problems, feeding hints and all sorts of info. I cannot believe they did not charge me anything, just wanted to help and advice on a breed they love.

:D :D :D I've been waiting on these pics! Its a huge transformation isnt it, must be odd for you to get used to your dog looking totally different. They did a nice job on him, he looks ready for the ring now! :D
