From Puppy To Adult Feeding

What age should I be looking to change from puppy to adult food?

Daisy will be 12 months in a fortnight or so.

I use Skinners Junior for my 1 year old and intend to change to adult when he is 18 months.

The age will differ by breed/size. Smaller dogs will develop faster than large breeds - the main thing you're trying to do is ensure that while they are growing and growth plates are still doing their thing that they're getting sufficient protein. I changed my pup from puppy to adult when she was 11 months, she's a mini poodle bitch.

We switched our Vizsla from Royal Canin Medium Junior to Arden Grange Premium (adult food) at 11 months. He had had a few flare ups of Panosteitis prior to the switch and touch wood - 2 months on he has been fine.
