Daft question - can frozen carrots harm them? I just wondered if they might give them "tummy ache".

The yard I used to ride at gave frozen carrots all the time, Mine have them but I cut them up small so by the time they are munched theyve hopefully been warmed up enough.

Mine have been having a handful in each feed. Once they defrost they go mushy and I would be wary of feeding of them then. Mine will eat the frozen ones and havent had any problems

This is probably an odd question, lightly related to this thread but someone I know wants to make the horses a giant popsicle in summer to put in field by freezing a bucket of water with apples, carrots etc in.

Is this going to cause colic?? Reading the above I am suspecting it will??!! Does this happen to horses with anything icey??
