Fruit and veg that horses can have

But horses are browsers by nature & like variety, just watch them if they get the chance, hawthorn, brambles, berries, thistles, they dont just eat grass & Happyhoof

mine love wild raspberries and rose hips, gorse-they browse on ash, rowan, birch and hawthorn and beech and are currently living on standing hay.of course I know nothing and am constantly putting them at risk by buying them pears.

Mine likes Apple, carrot, pear, satsuma (remove the skin and pips) and has the odd bit of cabbage leaf.

He likes swede but it seems to send him nuts so he doesn't get it anymore as he's enough of a knobber already!

Our old ponies used to try and mug me for my jam sandwich and packet of skips!:D he also lives double sausage and egg muffin and sugar donut from Macy d's......

Well today Buds has had an apple, a carrot, a pear and three sprouts all split between his tea and tomorrow's breakfast.
Tbh he is spoiled, when he just gets his feed with no yummies in it he noses through, audibly sighs and follows me to the door looking forlorn before wandering back to pick at his boring feed. It may sound like like an exaggeration but its true, and very amusing. I then feel sorry for him and make sure I remember the next day :P
