Before I click buy it now has anyone bought these stirrup leathers? Is the quality ok?

I’ve been riding in my trainers freejump wide stirrup leathers but I can’t justify £160+ so need a budget friendly option so if anyone has any other wide stirrup leathers suggestions I’d appreciate it.

What do you think of the Free Jump stirrups? Are they worth the money? Debating trying them for my daughter, how flexible are they? We have saftey stirrups already but these do sound quite good

I’m not sure I’m afraid as I’ve been using my own stirrups with the free jump leathers. I’ve been using my tech Siena stirrups which have been great for my knee and ankle pain. Flex ons caused me more ankle pain.

Hopefully someone else has used them though and can comment 😊

I have some, they are a couple of years old but had relatively light use (on a jump saddle that is probably used once or twice weekly). They have not lasted that well to be honest, the stitching and thread down the outside has all frayed and the leather looks more worn than I would have expected. That said I do find them helpful with leg stability.

Thanks for the honest review I do really appreciate it. Have you used any others that you’d recommend?

Thankyou! I’ve seen these but unfortunately my saddle is tan 😭

I bought the Acavallo mono wide ones, pleased with the quality although they're new so can't comment on the longevity!

Many years ago I bought an fss bridle as a cheap stopgap when I bought a horse after a long gap and had nothing. It was much better than expected and I still have it.

But I always upgrade reins and stirrup leathers as they are more of an issue if they snap and stirrup leathers take a lot of weight.

Mind you I have some Jeffries t bars that stretched badly so even going for known brands doesn't guarantee.
