Just wondering what the feeling is for a national fuel protest? Whose up for blocking petrol forecourts on horse back?

Me. Except my horse would have a nervous breakdown probably lol!
Its all happening tomorrow isn't it? But my dad and OH said it will only happen if people rush to get fuel today and tonight otherwise nothing will probably be done about it. And its only shell? Am I right? Or should I say are my OH and dad right ?

I'm going to get some fuel today - but it's not panic buying, the red fuel light has been on for 3 days!!!

I have started to walk a lot more because i am struggling with fuel bills as well as every thing else. I live in London and have to pay for a yearly parking permit that doesn't give you a guaranteed parking place.
Good old Tower hamlets council have decided to put up the cost of the parking permit, based on engine size. I used to pay £70 a year but i know have to pay £170 a year because i have a large engine, yet the car fits in the same bays as the rest of the bloody cars in my street.
I am also being punished because of the engine size through my Tax it is due in Sept 09 and i am dreading the bill hence i buy post office stamps weekly to help me pay for the tax when it arrives.
The fuel just caps the lot really and the best of it is who will buy my lovely 4X4 no one because the cost is redicules. This goverment are not happy unless they know the people of this country are struggling.
