With all of this cold weather I've managed to keep the top half of my body warm with wearing a tshirt, 3 jumpers and a coat

my feet are toasty with 2 pairs of socks and Mountain Horse boots, but my legs are always freeezing!!

Am thinking of getting some full chaps, fleece lined ones and like the look of the Rambo ones, does anybody have them? Any recommendations for other brands?? Don't really want to spend more than £45.

Cheers

Waterproof thermal jodphurs work for me, used to have full chaps not very warm but they weren't fleece lined ones!

I have Rambo ones, can highly recommend them for keeping the wind off your legs. You still get a cold bum though!

On cold wet days they are a god send. I used to have some suede ones, which unfortunately got left out and wet. I now have some Shires lined ones, wonderful

I had the horseware ones, not fleece lined, just cotton, and found they made a big difference, they keep you dry and the wind off and I think I would have been too hot in the fleece ones.

I have the Mountain Horse full chaps, lined a bit like a warm coat. They are 1 of the best things I have ever bought! Cozy and warm and don't twist round like my suede ones did when riding

I haven’t tried full chaps but use salopettes (sp) used for ski-ing to keep me warm.

They are wind and waterproof, very very warm and only cost £10 off ebay, brand new.

I love them and am practically living in them at the moment.

what about some very lovely attractive long johns under your jods?

i like the mountain horse fleece lined chaps too but bum gets cold!

I've got the Rambo ones too and love them. I stupidly thought it had warmed up the other day and rode out without them

I was blinking frozen.

Can't recommend them highly enough
