full clip-how long does it take you?

inclusive of retrieving horse and clippers before hand, and washing off/hot clothing/grooming afterwards and tidying up.

wondering if i am incredibly anal, or just averagely slow!

Well, I now call full clipping my cob a 'one day event' cos that's how long it takes me (but I wouldn't be the best!)

Takes me about an hour depending on the horse, we normally do a full clip with half head and leave the legs.
Takes longer with a full head and legs, but we don't very often take the legs off.

About 2 hours :) That's everything off. And I am a perfectionist when it comes to clipping!

I have only taken an hour before but that was a re-clip after 10 days from the last.

I'm very lucky in that all 3 of ours that are clipped stand like rocks and go to sleep :D

it took me 2 hours yesterday to clip (all off) one my brother in laws beasts, 17,3 giant from getting him out of box, brushing off and then cleaning up after. No tram lines as I am a perfectionist. Horse was an angel and clippers were fine too, i waste loads of time moving the damn stool so I can reach. ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

On a well behaved horse it takes me about an hour to do a hunter clip, on a naughty/fidgety one - as long as it takes, but I do aim to be done on one battery charge (2.5hrs).
I suppose it would be quicker if I used mains clippers, but I'm really worried about trailing cable.
