I currently have my Badger horse on DIY livery. he's still out at night ATM but the plan was for my mum to look after him when he comes in, and we are meant to be hunting this year.

However, it's causing all sorts of family drama which I can do without TBH so I've decided to put him on full livery, and want him ridden 4x per week as I haven't really got the time for enough fittening work.

How much would you expect to pay for this? We are in Derbyshire and I currently pay £170 a month for DIY with hayledge/straw included (nice yard).

Cheers

I would expect to pay £130 - £140 a week for full livery with being ridden four times a week! I am in staffs so not far from you! I would pay £95 a week for full livery without work depending on yard facilities! I do know the yard which you are on and it is lovely so def worth a bit extra!

If you want just to have riding on top but you do the rest I would expect to pay (depending on the person) anywhere between £15-£30 per ride, if talking full livery with everything included horse care/feed etc and riding £150-£200 per week but I'm in the South East

We are in east anglia and its £110-120 per week full livery {depending on bedding} plus then £15 per half hour schooling session. Theres a girl at our yard that offers a full livery service for £5 per day which she says is ths going rate for people that have it daily so mayb you could find some1 like that who would do it privately for u and save a bit of money.

Full livery including exercise (some of which can be lunging) 4 x a week is £115 on my yard. I think you would need to pay a little bit more if you were after a specific type of ridden work, rather than just what the yard would do to keep them ticking over. Around here hunter livery is about £150 a week so somewhere around there.

Cool, thanks guys.

It's a girl on the yard who's doing the "Full" part, £5 a day for looking after him and £6 per ride, so a bargain I think! :)

He just needs exercise so was thinking of asking if she could do 2 1 hour hacks and 2 schooling/shorter hacks..
