Full neck rugs

Hi there, in the past i have had a few full neck new zealand rungs, i am hoping somone could give me some good advice on a failry weighty not too pricey one that you ahve found doesnt rub out the horses manes?? i find this to be a huge problem and then takes most of the summer to grow back again

Weatherbeeta's are excellent. Just dont get the Landa version as I didnt like that one, but the rest are brilliant - I have used Arion, Orican, Tristar etc. past winters no problem at all, all manes are intact by the end.

Having had the same problem in the past, I've found that detachable neck covers don't seem to rub.

I found the opposite
The detatchable ones rubbed like mad and combo ones are fine

Another vote for weetherbeater. Got a decent one from Robinsons, heavy weight about £75 or something like that.

Yet another vote for Weatherbeeta. There reasonable to buy, fit well and last well! Love them (although some of the colours/patterns they bring out are a bit scary)!

Another vote for Amigo's. Ours have them and none have rubbed the manes. The Wug high nick version does rub though.

I love my Weatherbeeta full necks, I have four in total in different weights. I think they all rub a bit but not excessively.
