Full neck turnouts?

Im currently trying to decide which full neck turnout to get my mare for winter and cannot decide :p I like the look of the Premier Equine ones but does it make a difference as to whether the hood is seperate or integrated? Does one rub the mane moreso than the other as I dont want half a mane?! I usually just get normal necked ones but with white on her neck I would quite like her to stay clean :D Also are the PE rugs deep as my mares belly seems to hang out of the Shires rugs and Amigo's just about cover?

Love PE! I always buy with removable neck because it can be attached so it fits higher over the mane IYSWIM. The depth is great - it reaches down as far as my ponies knees!
 
I prefer a full neck rug as I find the ones with removable ones leak in the gap.

Bucas rugs are fabulous they have a liner which wicks away sweat or damp so you don't need to wait hours for horse to dry before chucking a rug on.

Weatherbeeta are also fabulous rugs very durable and never leak. :)

mm, did you find your horse gets wet from the belly up in Bucas rugs? Mine used to be drenched to about whorl height in heavy rain!?? My Bucas rugs are all cleaned and packed away and i am deciding if i should give them another go on my new horse or sell while they are clean!
 
I mean like if you go out on a ride and your horse gets wet out on a ride you can just wack the turnout on rather than cooler rugs and wicking rugs. I've never had a problem with the Bucas rugs though as in leaking wise. :)
 
I have the removable neck rugs. I never have a problem with leakage, had my Fal rugs about 8 years and they're still as good as new.
 
Hmmm interesting thanks :) I quite like the PE ones and the Weatherbeeta Landa full neck. So apart from some leaking were the hood attachs is there really any difference?
