Full siblings.... any differences?

True Colours, have you exhausted all the possible colour combinations from GG and PT yet? Being a huge palomino fan I particularly love the palominos and I thought that Four Feet of Snow was the most fabulous name ever!

Thanks - I loved Frosty's registered name as well! :D

Yeah - I think we have - the only ones we havent accomplished is a plain buckskin and a plain smoky black but since I'd far prefer them with white markings -thats quite okay if we never get those! :D

So sorry to hear about Remember my Name, devastating for all his connections, they would have loved him back in the UK.

Broke our hearts. We all loved that colt ... :(

Did PT have a foal this year?

No - she caught twice and lost it both times. We'be bred her twice this year and she came up empty the first time and she gets checked on July 29th. She and the other mares cycled like fiends January, February and March and since I didnt want a December, January or February baby, I totally ignored those cycles and then the whole lot of them (including every other mare out there its seems!) shut down for April and May and we needed to hot shot them to get them cycling again so we could breed them! My Nightlight mare is in foal and now waiting on the rest of them

A friend of mine in Cambridge has a buckskin (or is he dun?) 3 or 4 year old by GG ('Goblin') and although he is obviously out of a different mare he looks very much the same stamp as all these.

Goblin is gorgeous and Kendra is such a fabulous girl. I feel so badly for what she is going through health wise - crossing my fingers that they can pull a rabbit out of the hat for her and quickly ...

We've got full brothers a year apart. They're both about the same height, but different colours, builds, temperaments etc. They're both very correct, and both move well, but if you saw them together you wouldn't know they were related.

I look after a pair of full siblings they are completely different in every way. Different colours and builds. One is very work orientated and calms into work very quickly but doesn't like being fussed around, but can't be left in a field or on the yard alone. The other loves attention but is very sharp to work and is absolutely left anywhere by himself.
Hope this helps.:)

I have bred 2 full sisters. By Yarland Summersong, out of a Bohemond mare

They both look identical, the second just being a bit bigger and stronger.

The second is also much more independent, cheeky and constantly escapes from her field!

I am currently breaking the first and she is a doddle, but I may leave the second to the professionals!
