Fulmer bit with peanut roller question.

I've spotted a bit on ebay. Fulmer, with peanut roller. I would use it with keepers.

But...

wouldn't the peanut revolving part make the fixed sides useless? If you see what I mean.

(Ideally I would like to find a fulmer, 5 or 5.25, sweet iron with a lozenge, but can't find one anywhere!)

Would a full cheek be suitable as an alternative to a Fulmer?
