Hiya, we got one of our mares back off loan a month ago. She's changed a lot since we last had her, so we've been getting to know each other again. I've been schooling her and she's been quite strong and refusing to work in an outline. So i decided to try her in a market harborough and she's been amazing! Working beautifully and is so responsive. We're going on a 10 mile fun ride on friday

, and i was wondering if it would be safe to ride her on this in the MB?
I doubt we'll do much jumping as she didnt do any at all with her loaner. But if we did want to do a couple, is an MB a bad idea? Found this on a website:

"The Market Harborough, named after the town of it's origin in England, is a form of martingale, but is unsafe to jump in. "

Just wondering why is it unsafe?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure she'll be fine without it, but thought it might make things a bit easier!
