Fun thread - if you has a race horse

I've always wanted to name my horse Sods Law, but I think that's taken.

I got confused when I watched Numbersixvalverde (He wasn't number six!) So perhaps something like NumberOne In Front ??

Been done - Willywont He was a well known PTPer in Yorkshire

I think Singlefarmpayment was probably the most famous example named along the pension fund/tax rebate/lottery win lines.

I like Time Flies By, who runs in the McManus colours (green and yellow stripes). So the commentator often says 'Times Flies By, in the yellow and green'. Brilliant! I can never decide whether it was intentional or not. I guess it depends whether the horse was named before or after JP bought it.

JP will have named him as it was bought in as a store before it ran. He puts a lot of thought into the names of his horses and I suspect he had a bit of giggle naming him that knowing full well the consequences it brings to comentators!

The horses mother is called What A Mewsment.
 
Imagine these four horses in the same race, and taking the first four places:
  1. By A Short Neck
  2. By A Nose
  3. By A Length
  4. By Two Lengths

All under eighteen letters.
