Fun with poles

Springy and I had a fun session in the school in the rain tonight

I put poles and cones out in the school and just had fun cantering trotting over them.
I then spent some time doing walk to canter transitions and then asked Spring to change canter lead as we landed over the poles and she did it first time

So proud of my pony

if I can improve my riding we met yet be able to do dressage!!

I've got a book by Claire Lilley called "Schooling with ground poles". There's lots of really good exercises in there, although for some of them you need a degree in geometry!
