any ideas for what we could do on our yard? just to raise a bit of money for a horse charity. cant be mucking out or bring in etc as it would interfere with services.

How about a sponsored ride? or something along those lines? Could get local papers to run a story to help raise funds....

My friends riding school did a sponsered ride there was a small charge for anyone that needed a pony then the riders had to try and get some sponsors to. They raised over a thousand pounds
How about a gymkhana for any age and any horse or pony. Id like to do that and im 26 i never got to do it as a kid!

How about a gymhana and especially for the adults too.... bending race, egg and spoon, sack race, handy pony/horse or should I say non-handy pony/horse, naughtest coblet, hairyest naglet, longest mane (not the horse but the rider!) - it could be great fun and a right jolly good laugh too.... you could also invite other yards closeby for an inter-yard gymhana!.. and BBQ afterwards with plenty of wine. How's that idea.
