Fune rides - glos/wilts/somerset/s.wales

Hi, does anyone know of any nice fun rides coming up in july/august?
We are in South Glos but near to M4 and one junction from M5 so anything from glos in the north, wilts to the east, somerset to the south and south wales to the west would be ideal.
I told a fellow livery I'd take Lacey as a nanny horse to baby sit their horse as there's hasn't done xc yet. She's also not great to travel as the only trips she's done recently is to new yards so I thought going in the trailer, having some fun and returning to the same "home" would be good for her.

Oh and is the fun ride around "Adam's Farm" (countryfile) any good?

ETA: just realised I can't even spell "fun"!
 
I plan on going to the Badminton Fun ride :) And Neston whenever that is.

And Long Newton again possibly :)
 
There's one run by the trails trust from our village in September. There's also the Banwell PC one from Barrow Gurney soon.

I hope you're nagging Marie to do the one from your village on George, he loved fun rides with us.

i usually do badminton, there are a few on the quantocks every year, deer park xc at cheltnam do a fun ride over fantastic senery! and stockland lovell usually do one every year to!!
 
thats a good idea, i have a broken horse so i wont be going :( was it last year it was cancelled due to bad ground or the year before??
 
I'm not sure, I'd only just moved here last year!

Can borrow my horsey if you wanted something to go on, I have Hairy! :p

It ran last year, I was there, the year before it was cancelled due to the ground and 2007 because of foot and mouth. This year it is being run by the same people who recently organised the Cirencester Park ride, which was excellent, so they'll actually be some jumps!

HHO meet could be a laugh, my OH and I will be there.

There is a fun ride at barbury castle in autumn time....its STUNNING. its run by the vine and craven hunt but I dont think this years date has been released yet.

Yes we must, I have been distracted by life recently and my boy has got FAT for the first time in the 8 years I've owned him! So ashamed but back into a fitness regime for both of us now :) wagon has plating next Tues so after that I will be MOBILE and hopefully he will be slimmer so YEAH let's do it!! Are you going to bring your TB or the boy in your sig??

As for any fun ride meet up please do count me in! :)
 
cotswold farm park fun ride is fab (adam's farm!), there is one around cirencester park at the end of may each year too (I know we have missed this years, but it is really fab so worth keeping a space in the diary for next year!).
The badminton one sounds fab!!

Tell me about, my life's just been one huge hectic BLUR atm!

Aaah fab :D Woop woop. I'm not sure who I'd bring tbh! Possibly Buster or our other cob who needs some fun in his life...probably not Hairy lol!
