Our poor old GSD, Stormy has been diagnosed with this (a message relayed from Mum so I am not sure what was up with him

)

Does anyone know what this is and how it will affect him? He is on all manner of pills at the moment, but I know nothing about it.

Furunculosis as in anal furunculoss which is very common in German shepherds...ulcers around the anus, this used to be commonly treat with cryo to freeze the ulcers off...im sure there are advances now to treat the condition, as I dont work days any more im not sure what the course of treatment is...have a read up on it.
Maybe a a special diet/medication.
It's common in older shepherds.
