What is the funniest comment you have had on a dressage sheet?

Recently, (in the pouring rain

), my boy fidgeted a bit in the halt at the end and the judge's comment was, "tripple selko with a twist?" which has amused me no end ever since! What was funnier was it was in the judges writing not the writers as I am assuming the writer didn't know what she was on about!!

The judge then went on to make some lovely comments about my boy and said she felt sorry for us in the rain!

in my last one, in every box, he wrote "horse slightly hollow" not kidding on every move!!! i was like ok we get it! need to work on the whole hollow thing, have u got anything else to say!!!!

I had 'clearly disturbed by the crisp packet in the corner of the school and the grey in the arena next door. Bad luck!'

I was forced to do dressage at a yard I worked in, on a horse of theirs who, I discovered during the test, had a phobia of being in an indoor school.
He took off, swerved past the judge, pretty much flat out, and squeezed himself and me out the doors.....
I went back in, finished the test and got the comments 'Against the hand' and 'I gave up before you did!' after which no more comments.

Quarters crooked in halt - when Hils had actually performed a 180 degree spin in the pouring rain and was actually facing the wrong way on the centre line

That sounds horribly familiar...'thoroughly entertaining' I think they said.

'Jumping is taking place in the next ring' (After we popped out of the arena following brake failure)

'Well ridden, and bucks well sat - considering the spaniel nipping at your heels throughout'

my friends horse was spooking at the fencing round the arena (flaping in the wind) and all it said was wrong bend, wrong bend, wrong bend, and she forgot the 5m circle and one of the judges shouted 'i take it you are missing the 5m circle out then'

it is the understated comments i think are funniest. I was scribing last weekend and the judge made the comment 'a little naughty at B' after the horse stood up on its back legs several times!

I got "Alderman's Trot" from an octegenarian judge. I'm not kidding, they went out every 30 mins to check he was still with us...

However bad you do, they try to say something nice. I know of someone who got "nice jacket" as their nice comment. The test must have been "interesting"...

Not had anything partially interesting myself, well not that I can remember anyway but I’m having a good old giggle at these so keep them coming!!

LMAO, it 's nice to see it happens to us all! My boy recently did such an abrubt canter to trot (almost halt) transition that I almost came flying out of the saddle, let out a yelp and couldn't stop giggling for the rest of the test. The comment was 'a little unbalanced transition'. As someone else said it's the understated comments that are the funniest. x

on my first test i had a comment saying my pont cantered like he was a firework waiting to explode!? Yes hes very highlt strung when he was younger...and very strong lol

These are always very entertaining posts I've had

"Try to give and take reins even more gently to avoid take off mode in future"

"Well sat and tactfully ridden"

and finally " A little late to halt" We actually only stopped when horses chest was on the front bumper of the judges car!!
