Funny hocks?

A friends pony has just started having what appears to be problems with its hocks. The hock seems to be locking up. The pelvis is working fine but the hock is locked.

does anyone have any advice as to what this could be?

Could itbe that the stifle locking... and giving the illusion of a horck problem? Locking stifles are VERY common, and usualy nothing to worry about.

If the horses hocks are locking up, call the vet at conce!
