I dont know whats got me thinking about this!

Whats the funnest/ strangest name for a horse you've ever heard? I once had one in for breaking called Yvonne! I thought that was pretty random lol!

My horse of a life time is called Tazz...she's a mare, people always think she's a gelding becasue of her name.

My Sec A was called Norman when he came to me, my Dad kept calling him Stormin' Norm! I change it to Robbie, I know they say thats bad luck butI couldn't deal with 'Norman'! He was 10 months old and had had no human contact so it didnt make a difference to him.

My first pony was called Dennis! When we went to try him I said 'why dennis?...is he a mennis?!' they said 'No, he's good as gold'..the day afer we took him home he put me in hospital with concusson and a broken thumb!

Apparenlty there are people on this forum that think Dougal is a silly name. I kinda agree but he is stuck with it. Luckily his show name is Lord of the Isles which is much sillier!!

i have 2 forest ponies.
one i called the pig for the first 3 years, because she was so nasty, then she got changed to wiz.
the second was called mouse, but she some how got changed to pudding, when i was watching them the other day the mouse was nibbiling the pig's whiskers, and i thought thats silly 2 ponies named after other animals.

Nesbit, a big daft bay holstine, not sure why it just really suits him!! Legs, a very gorgeous black mare, because when she came for breaking she was all ready 17.1- she stayed and so has the name. Squirel, A ex fat horse. his breeders named him that because when he was born he had big fluffly ears??!! I use to call him Squidge- suppose thats still daft!
Moo Cow, or just Moo is probally the silliest name, a 15.2 coulourd mare I have in. It really does sum her up though......

Ive thought of somemore... Gossip was a fat conny, she turned out totally stunning in the end! Savannah was a cute black show hunter pony, Toy boy was a sec a stalion. Little Joe was the cutest, nicest horse to break, he'd only been gelded about a month when he came to us so he was a real flirt! Wolly is a clasic, he was a total pain in my a$$ for the 4 years I knew him! There was a 17.3hh dutch mare called loppy, she had huge ears!
