As per my post in the PG i got my mini shetty Ty a year ago today. When i got him home i came across a really funny if not very wierd story!
I bought Inky my mini horse, from Berkshire, a 4-5 hour journey away, from a breeder. When i decided to buy Ty as a companion i looked on horsemart and found an advert for him. He was being sold by a private seller in Halifax. The people who were selling him didnt really know much about horses and had only had him a year or so. He had, acording to his passport already been through 5 owners and he was only 5yrs old now I still keep in regular contact with Inkys breeder by email and i sent her pictures of Inkys new friend when i got him home. Now here is the wierd bit... She emailed me back to say that she couldnt believe it, but she had had Ty as a yearling with the intention of breeding him, but he wasnt what she wanted to she sold him!!! In fact she produces a calender every year and sends me them, she said "if you go into your tackroom and look at my calender for this month ( July 2007 ) he's the mini in my living room!!!"
I couldnt believe that i had a picture of Ty from January when i hadnt even wanted another and here he was in my field!!! The people i bought him from and Inkys breeder had no knowledge of each other and he'd been through 5 hands before his previous owners!!!
