Funny line in a wanted ad

They have got a point really!

My stepson took his skewbald to camp and grumbled that it took him much longer to get his pony ready each day as the rest of his ride had bays and chestnuts! He had to wash stable stains off the pony's white bits every morning.

He had a grey before, then this skewbald, which has also been grown out of. We keep saying we're working him up to a dark coloured horse so that he will appreciate it. We have clay fields, some with lots of iron in the soil, so they can really get dirty
 
My favourite wanted I ever saw went along the lines of

"Wanted, completely bombproof first pony, must be geniune and 100% in all ways

For highly nervous mother and overly confident child!
 
I have a grey dun with an off white body, black legs and a greyish tail which his black dorsal stripe runs through. The result is that almost any dirt, grime, dust, stains etc can be passed off as his "unusual colouring" :D
