Rode a horse for my boss last night that we've just got in to do some schooling with. He's only 4 or 5 i think so he is still pretty green and hasn't done much. Id taken him in the school the night before so we went for a hack. We were going along a little path and he picked up a stone so I jumped off to get it out and was quite difficult holding onto him and picking up his foot and picking out a stone but anyway i was managing and his little face lit up and decided he was going to go for the grass, so i had to put down his foot or he was going to fall or hurt himself in some way! so i let go of his foot as he moved forward thinking he'd put it down, but no, instead he kneeled down and continued to munch! so my boss at this point is in a fit of giggles. once i'd got him up and did get the stone out i got back up and we continued on, he then saw himself in the reflection of the mirror and he wouldnt stop neighing and he refused to move so i had to get off once again and lead him! Not sure if he's just not bright or if he's just being a baby! haha x
i have one who got tired/bored when he was being backed and used to sit down
