Looked on Amazon after being reminded of these wonderful wee beasties :D

What's the difference between the large dog one and the equine one, other than about twenty quid?:rolleyes:

Anyone use the large dog one on a horse?

Any make to go for over another?

Ta folks :D

I haven't seen either in the flesh so not sure - can you not see a difference amazon? Perhaps google the ferminator manufacturers and they might have something to say?

I love ferminators!!!!

I use the large dog one on the horses, can't see what the difference would be other than twenty quid like you say! It does the job!

I use large dog one on dogs and horses :D Very effective (use on manes and tails too)

Never used the equine one so can't comment.

Sorry to hijack thread.
Would these work on a Shetlands winter coat? Would I still be able to show using one of these please? Never heard of them before but my mare has such a coat anything to help loose her coat would be a godsend :) have a show at the end of April so want the coat gone lol thankyou x

Absolutely. They don't do any damage to the coat, but they get more out than anything else I've tried.

I just brought one of viovet for £29.96 and free delivery, an equine one.. Is that a good price? I had never heard of one before, so thought I'd give it a go, sick of getting covered in hair!

I have a large dog one (yellow) and an equine one (green). The only difference is the length of head. I also have a cat one (purple). I'm a Furminator fan, can you tell?

I have a large one for my border collie and makes a real difference on him, the cats like it as well when their coats are changing.

Really pleased to read that dog one works on ponies, because my two youngster are very full of thick winter coats that they are starting to shed, so will give it a try.

Thanks for information
