further developments on the lammi.

Star has been recovering from steroid induced lammi..... now it looks as though she has blown a tendon in a foreleg. Swollen, warm area behind the cannon bone, and it hurts.
Not a clue how she has done this while standing in a stable, or standing/mooching in an arena for 20 minutes twice a day. She doesnt hooley. Never has done, it's just not her style.

The vet has said not to change the management - to continue very short periods of turn out.
She had her feet trimmed today, and a support pad put in the more tender foot (opposite to the swollen leg).
X-rays show no rotation, but some inflammation around the tip of the pedal bone.

I'm stumped and not really sure about what I am looking at in terms of recovery. She's 16 - 19 years old.
