Have decided its time to get myself some specialised dressage lessons - i'm also based east midlands - but I need to find someone who can bring the best out of a jockey who thinks anything under 3ft qualfies as dressage?!?! Horse could be very good, rider is - somewhat lacking in experience, shall we say! Desperately want to improve my dressage marks as its easily my worst phase (not the horse's!) but I need someone who is a) Not going to knock my confidence and b) work miracles. Plus they need to be not too far away, not too difficult to get hold of (That really annoys me!) and not ridiculously expensive (once it gets beyond £45 for 45 minutes it qualifies as ridiculously expensive!) Can anyone recommend someone? Thanks, sorry its one of those mildly annoying posts!

Ask that nice judge who gave you encouraging comments at Buckminster.

Andrew Day was recommended on Baydale's thread and he would be a great choice for you too - calm and uncomplicated manner and I think you would take a lot away from a lesson with him.

I have to say I too would thoroughly recommend the loony Lincolnshire woman with the Bay horses. If she can improve me and my big bay lump she can work wonders with anyone. Wait til I take the youngster to see her.......

I will also back up the lady with the big bays at Lincoln - B, after T & I spent two days with her we went from 50-ish mark to 41....!! Enough said, you've seen T's DR so you know!!Seriously, she's awesome
