Sorry, not cantering though! We had another go today and he was much better, but we swapped saddles so he is in the 18" and he didn't put his stirrups down far enough - or his hat, LOL . Doesn't FB's face say it all?

I was just leaning back to say something to OH and he snapped a pic. My hair is stuffed down my hi-viz making me look totally odd and Ari is watching some people putting up a very scary scarecrow in a field. Second outing in his Dr Cook and he was great - I have a feeling getting him moving is going to be more of an issue than stopping him:

LOL! It stands for Fat Boy - not so relevant now but it stuck! His real Spanish name is rarely used and he is also known as Alfred or Fat Alfred.

Thank you! I saw his photo on the website he was advertised on and said to my OH, 'I hate greys but I want that horse!' Having checked he had a leg at each corner and wasn't a nutter, we bought him twelve hours later
