My pup is 5 and a half months old. He is a JRT cross Westie. He's fed Arden Grange puppy food but prefer's my older dog's Arden Grange senior . I try to feed them apart because my older dogs scoff and puppy eats one nugget at a time!!...but find puppy eats better in with the other two..on his own he just wanders off and sits in his bed.
My question is...is it too early to put them all on the same feed ie an adult feed and would pup need something extra still (and what?) because atm it's a toss up between not a lot of puppy food or a decent amount of senior!
I do mix the two but he picks out the adult.
He is well and lively so assume he's getting enough but just rarely ever eats the full amount and never with any great gusto.
