hi can eneyone help . iv a light weight show cob who is fed happyhoof meadow mix n codliver oil & garlick hes been fed that for the last 10 months of him being with me but all of a sudden hes gone right off the happyhoof was thinking of apple chaff ect ect whats your views no alfa hay or alfa oils hes a cob and will spread he also cant be fed top line cubes he comes out in huge lumps

Garlic isnt the most palatable of flavours to a horse and happy hoof has garlic in it as well. You could cut out the garlic and swap the happy hoof for dodson and horrell safe and sound, which is a very similar product- just a different make.

Apple chaff is very high in sugar, so i wouldnt feed that if hes prone to weight gain.

thanks teddyt so its safe n sound got a bit of happyhoof left going to cut the garlick out n see if hel eat it . it may just be the garlick n buy the safe n sound glad you told me about the apple chaff thank you
