Just wanted to share this super cool little guy with you all.
Took the little man in the arena today on a lunge line, thought I'd try out some desensitising. He is 10 months old & currently stands at 10.2 hh. A fellow livery had left some 2'4" jumps set up & thinking there is no way he would jump them, I took him over to see the poles & wings. He slowly got closer & closer until he was stood touching the pole
Perfect. But then with out warning he did this:
Well I was amazed and he clearly enjoyed it, so I let him do a few more (just came him some line & stood back).
I don't intend allowing him to do this again soon, at 10 months old I think his joints are too fragile. But I can see what I'll be doing with him in the future
