Futuristic Hunter Trials - What are they?

There is one being held local to me - but what are they?

Sadly entered a different comp in another area so cant get there on the day to go look around.

They seem to be run as hunter trials across country but with knock down fences. I haven't seen any round this way.

This popular competition will be run as a Hunter Trial, but the obstacles will be knock down show jumps over approx 1.5 miles course, including water obstacles. There will also usually be a timed section.

So basically show jumping fences over XC terrain sounds straightforward enough
