Did anyone see the results at Richmond in the futurity classes? I was keeping an eye out for Sir Suave and the other Revolution offsprings, as he is a stallion I am interested in using. What did anyone think? Would appreciate some opinions to help me decide whether i want to use him!!

Sie Suave was in after us. He certainly caught the eye outside the ring, but I didnt see him jump as we were unplaiting our boy by then.
He did look a bit sharp in the collecting ring but apparently went very nicely inside.

Revolution did have a good day as another of his offspring went Elite - a foal I think it was

Sir Suave got an Elite premium. Well done to him and his owners and handlers.

I actually thought his owners were incredibly brave to take a young stallion to the Futurity. As I see it they had everything to lose by putting him up against so many other horses. If he hadn't been as good as they thought it might have damaged his reputation before his stud career has started. But they are obviously right about how good a horse he is and he was rewarded with an Elite premium. He must be very special for his connections to have so much faith in him at such a young age.

Revolution did very very well with his off springs
Foal and 3yrs (SIR SUAVE) got Elite premium and Champion
Yearling 1st premium and reserve champion
2yrs old (Reevolass) 1st premium and champion
All in the eventing classes

Part bred CB Hawlmark Classic Twighlight gained a First Premium but don't know how the pure bred Knaresborough Filly fared.anyone?

The filly foal is also a part bred by Jaguar Mail out of Knaresborough Moonbeam. She gained a second premium, let down on the vets mark with some remedial farriery needed on the front.
It was well worth entering just to get the expert vets opinion and it will enable us to correct the problem now

Otherwise we were very pleased with the panels comments about our pure bred mare.

Will get the foot corrected and go back next year and try to do a bit better.

As volatis said really, he followed us into the ring, he is a lovely looking stallion, although i would prob visit him to see what his temprement was like at home as at richmond he gave me the impression he may be a little hot, although i appreciate it would have been a fairly exciting occasion for a 3yr old stallion. His score was very similar to my boy, i believe he got 0.25 higher on the vetting mark and 0.25 lower on the type/temp mark but apart from that was mostly the same marking if that helps at all. When the photos go up you should be able to get an idea of his jumping ability(if they ever go up that is). Looks like he would be worth a visit.

we were in after Sir Suave and I watched him. Yes he was sharp in the collecting ring but seemed to behave really well in the main ring. He jumped very well and was a credit to his owner. One of his helpers kindly stayed behind to help run my filly round, thanks for that! We got Elite and the highest score of the day, not bad for a Shire cross sportspony!
