Gaaaaaa!!!!

I just saw a fb post saying that my friend's cat had kittens. This is the second time it's had kittens and I'm sure it's only about 18 months old. Yes kittens are cute but how frickin IRRESPONSIBLE! I hate people breeding dogs for the sake of it but I somehow feel that with cats it's so much worse. It's not like it was done on purpose (other than by ommission) as the tom would have been a random stray.

Sorry I know this is cats not dogs but I just wanted some other folks to say it too- Gaaaaa!

I know what you mean - friend of a friend on FB also puts pics of litters up and seems no sooner have one lot been sold than oops - it's had another litter

3 from the last litter died as he let them out in his garden pre-injections. On monday, lo and behold, photos of new kittens in his garden - not even got their eyes open yet! Selfish and clueless!

Ah, reminds me of growing up in a time of multiple kittens having kittens with other kittens who were their brothers and sisters and whaddaya know, lots more kittens who couldn't breathe and were mal-developed through inbreeding.
I actually offered to neck a kitten for my Nan when I was about ten because it was in such a bad way, lungs coming out through its' mouth and allsorts, maybe that's what has made me the heart hearted cowbag I am!!!
