Hi I had a gadget that I used to attach to my big cobs head collar it was about 8" long made of webbing with ciips at either end and a ring in the middle you attached the clips to either side of the head collar and attached the lead rein to the ring It has now rotted after many years and I can not remember the name of them to find another can you help. they may not make them anymore now all the dually stuff is around but it was handy as you could just take it on and off the head collar as needed.

Was it a Lidstone coupling? Westgate/EFI used to sell them. Very handy bit of kit they were too. Basically just tightened under the chin a bit to give a bit of nose pressure without overdoing it. If they aren't available anymore it would probably be straightforward to get one made up by Timson's if you had an old headcollar and salvaged 4 of the rings off that and got 3 clips from a chandlers' or a country store.
