Given that we can only guess Gadget's age based on the size he was when he was dumped in a cat box last year we estimate that his birthday is around now.
This is the photo I posted when we first found him aged approximately 12 weeks:

And this is him now, a 1 year old hooligan managing to sit still for a few moments!

I think he's turned out to be a bit of a looker, but then I suppose I would think that! :)
Happy Birthday Gadget!

How could anyone dump him?! He's gorgeous! Lovely markings.

He had raging diarrhoea at the time so I think they were avoiding a vet bill.
Either that or his parents were a nightmare and they knew he would be the same! We go to a training class every week and have extra one to one sessions at home to keep his brain busy, he is a naughty little toad but he is amazingly clever.

Is he mostly collie? Do you do agility? One of mine is far too clever but even at nearly two, he is knackered after a new experience, so we try something or go somewhere different if we can. It wears him out!

We don't really know what he is but experienced trainer says she thinks he has Aussie in him. He has some traits that don't seem to fit just Collie. He answers back if he doesn't agree with me. I have looked into DNA swabbing but not sure it's really worth it. We have started to do a little bit of agility, just at home to start with but I do plan to do some properly when he is a bit older.
We rarely walk in the same place for 2 days in a row and I always make walks interactive. He looks for mischief the whole time so I am trying to be one step ahead constantly!
