I like the the arm stabilizer, though would be terrified I might fall and not be able to save myself.

And is the Thiedemann Reins like a MH but with out the neck strap?

I agree with nearly everything she says, some very interesting points that most people wouldnt consider. Draw reins and other aids may have thier place in some stables but at least people should be aware of how they work and any dis-advantages to them.

Oh yes definitely one sided. I was more interested in all the different types of gadgets, interesting how only the easiest to abuse/ strongest gadgets are listed. But still interesting to know about them all.

Did find the human ones interesting. Though Humans are easier to correct/teach.

I just thought she made out that ANY horse can be ridden without using gadgets. I disagree with that. I think they are very beneficial to some horses. Why have a battle with a horse when it can be prevented.

I do not think she makes any allowance for horses personality or confirmation which is the two things which affect a lot of the decisions you make with gadgets.
