All missy had on her was the neck cover which "was" permantly attached to the rug , Its still a mystery as to what has happened

Checked on her this morning as she was in, Brought her out to have a look at her and her hind legs are both swollen and abit of heat in them, Im unsure as to what has happened, Im thinking shes obviously giped about with the whole rug incident

and sprained or hurt her legs in someway and with her standing in they have just puffed up .

So I have hosed them down and put her out into the field to let her walk out on them see if they will go down this way .

There is no obvious cuts, So its all abit of a mystery .

Just a pic of her back legs , Now shes not got alot of bone so you can see quite abit of swelling or well looking at the preview of the post, you can't see alot

but seeing it , she does have quite alot swelling . ...

she really is turning out like her little (half

Merlin went through a phase of ripping rugs

then he stopped all of a sudden

looks as though she had rolled and got her leg in either the x straps/fillet string, and then yanked herself free

wouldnt worry about the swelling, will probably go down in a few days

Its the rug-removing leprechauns again - they were here last year when I found a rug in the field still nice done up but without a horse in it. They must have migrated north!

Sounds like the mystery surrounding Chelsea (my mare) and one rug which was on her when I turned her out but was found in the next field, still fully done up - front buckles, crossed surcingles still done up - rug just seemed to have blown off of her
