My stables sit at the back of an open fronted barn. I'm thinking of enclosing it in some way before the winter. Has anyone got, or seen in use the galebreaker agri doors. Are they any good? I've only seen them on the net whats the light transmission like?

They are quite pricey but on the face of it they may give me more flexibility than permanently enclosing it would. I could have them up for most of the year and pull them down when the wind and rain are driving in. I need to get a move on now as it feels like winters on the way already

I used to work for a firm that were agents for galebreaker. Although pricey we sold a lot of them and I think this was due to good reputation and quality of product, most were sold to farmers who are not easily pleased and don't like parting with their money so they must be good! Sometimes its worth spending a bit more to get something that's up to the job.

Thanks Horsey seems like they are ok quality wise then. I just wish i could actually see one or speak to someone who has one. It's a lot of money to buy from a piccy.

Come on people someone in wiltshire must know where one has been installed. Anyone ?? Thanks.

Hi scribbles, just a thought but if you contacted galebreaker, and told them you would like to see one they would probably be able to give you details of someone near you that has had one fitted (with other parties permission of course!). Worth a try.
