Does anyone know anything about the Arab stallion Galliard? I've just found out my share horse is by him (out of a TB mare) and would love to know if anyone had anything to share about him! All I know is he was (?) 14.2hh, born 1975, grey, by Roxan and out of Trypolitanka.

htobago - I don't have any good pictures of him! I am on a mission to get some though and some of him working nicely as I need some good ones to send off for the Your Horse win a horse competition

I reckon he's built fairly similar to his dad though. And he has a really annoying Arab habit of leaving his hindlegs out behind him when he stands! He's great though, I love him

and he definately knows he's a feisty Arab when he wants to be a pain in the backside!
 
Well I can defnitely see some of his Daddy in him! And he sounds like a great character.

Good luck with the 'win a horse' competition! I remember many years ago a girl won this and bought a lovely PBA (or might have been an Anglo - can't remember - called 'Monty' I think?) that went on to win lots in the show ring for her...

I'm afraid if I win the competition I shall be getting something chunky and warm-blooded, I've been put off Arabs by this one's attitude! He's fantastic as a share but I'd never have him for myself and nor would I have the other Anglo Arab I used to share. Too much hassle! I'll just stick to drooling over gorgeous pics of the likes of Tobago!
