Gallop (make of saddle) ???

Hi I am still looking for an x-wide saddle for my chunky girl, I went to a local equestrian table top sale last night and there was one there but it was made by Gallop! has anyone heard or got this make of saddle? and most of all is it English leather?

I might be wrong but i think they are sold from this country but are not made in this country.They are not bad quality though.A friend has one and it's okay.The only thing i noticed between the Gallop and a english MADE saddle was the stitching and finish was abit more coarser.

not normally English leather I am afraid.They come from the Gallop Equestrian catalogue (google and you will find it) they sell to trade so you see just how much the saddles really cost- some as low as 40.00-
Qulaity isnt great but depends what you are after.
This is all just my opinion.

Not usually English but they do have a range that is English but I think ou have to order it (if that makes sense?) and their extra wide is definately EXTRA wide! I have one spare if interested pm me.

I had a gallop saddle for backing and it was C**p. The leather was stiff as a board the girth straps were in the wrong place and the stirrup bars didnt seem safe very wobbly, i have just got a gallop comfort bridle sold as english leather and it is better quality than the saddle but still not good. I would not buy gallop again not impressed even for budget buys

Thanks a lot guys, I did have a feeling that it wasn't English, as you said Rema the finish was a bit ragged!
