I am on my gap year and am eventing from home but only have two horses too do at home so at the moment the rest of the day is spent watching, doctors neighbours then diagnosis murder! (boring) i am really enthusiastic about teaching to help earn money and fill my day up at times when i can do. But have no qualifications but the few lessons i have done people have enjoyed and benefitted, what should i do, advertise and go for it without qualificaitons? i dont no, need your help!

Have you tried volunteering with the RDA, asking local riding schools/livery yards etc... I know I'm not much help when I do my gap year I'll probably travel or find my perfect horse :)

Go for it altho if you are going to do it self employed rather than working for a riding school then I would look into getting insurance cover for teaching. when I was looking for yard work I found the best thing was just driving to various yards and asking if they had any work going.

Good luck!
