Well worth a read.
In my eyes this man is an unsung hero of the Horseworld.
A pure, pure horseman who has only the horse's welfare at heart. He deals with some of the most tricky and some of the most dangerous horses in this country.
Hopefully, this truly gifted horseman is now going to get the recognition he richly deserves.

You've used the word "Gifted", and how right you are. He has a quiet confidence which without a word, is transferred to the horse. He has his headaches and he has horses which take ages, but there's no magic wand for him, it's simply a matter of building a relationship. Some horses, one of mine for instance, step straight in to line, and Suzy says that he was the easiest ever, others aren't so simple and it takes time!

Gary has a son Craig, who came here to us to load and take away the above mentioned youngster. Craig is also very able, and also attends the race meetings, to load difficult horses in to stalls.

I'd add in closing, that The Withefords, the whole family, are a delight to deal with.

Alec.
