hello,
just looking for some advice please. My mare is 14 and in good health (good appetite ,shiny coat etc) there isnt much grass at the mo so and my mare gets haylage everyday along with a small scoop of hard feed with garlic. Her feeding routine has not changed apart form the decrease in grass. I have noticed that she has been quite gassy and lifting her tail to (sorry its not the most pleasant) pass gas and squirt fluid (shes not in season) her stools have been fine but i noticed today there was a bit of fluid passed with it. She has been wormed etc. I have ordered a live yeast supplement as her previous owner recommended it. Has anyone else experienced this with the change of weather/loss of grass?
thanks
ps. she is not showing signs of colic/discomfort and her demeanor is normal and happy
