Gastroguard? Ulcerguard? Differences? Best prices?

So my boys biopsy results have come back inconclusive but we are now to start treating as bad ulcers healing. We'll be collecting gastroguard tomorrow and if it works we'll need to buy more in the future.

After a quick google search on prices some american sites were suggesting ulcerguard? Is that available here? Is it cheaper?

I have looked through older posts but have just gotten confused

Very expensive. Same thing.

Go buy some RiteTrac by KERX and give for 30 days and read Dr Ridgeway's paper on ulcers which u will find invaluable.

Yes ulcer gaurd is about £20 a months supply and in moste feed shops I use itas Iits the easy one thats comonly avalible

Gastrogard (no 'u') and Ulcergard are the same product, made by the same company. Gg is the 'treatment' dose and Ug is packaged as a 'maintenance' product, divided into smaller doses. In the US Gg is only available from a vet, because of its strength but Gg can be purchased OTC.

There are similarly named products available but they do not contain the same ingredients and have not undergone the same testing.

Some people buy the active ingredient on line but this is a debatable practice at best, if only because you can't guarantee what you're getting.
