Hi, just wondered whos going to Gatcombe this weekend? I've got day b4 dres and SJ on Fri, and XC Sat so two days off work great (Boss not impressed!). Am looking forward to it, but just don't wanna do anything stupid, my last B.E Nov at Charlton Park last year I fell off at the last in the SJ, broke my leg, and then attempted to ride round the XC, got to about the fourth fence then decided it prob wasnt a very good idea! Oh well as long as I stay on i'll be happy!

Oooh, did you write a report on that? I seem to remember seeing you at your lorry, and making the connection! Hope it mended properly, better luck this time! MdM, with BBs grooming for her, and Sarah-Jane will be there I think.

Ooo good luck! Thats bad luck about falling off and breaking your leg last year - sounds painful

I'm number 140 in section C, 2nd last 2 go so at least I won't hav to get up too early!

How the hell did you continue and try and XC????!

I have broken my leg before and it was the worset agony I have ever felt in my entire life! My horse reared and fell back on top of me with the saddle snapping my tibia - it was almost a compound and was very jaggered and had moved quite a bit. Was awful!!

I've got a VERY high pain threshhold, used to point 2 point in Ireland so got used to breaking various bones and getting trampled on!! I also O.D'd on pain killers before I got back on, I couldnt move the next day through!
