Got Saturday dressage which is fab but have booked stabling Friday and Sat nights just in case so going to have a nice fun weekend of it.
So excited, it will be almost exactly a year after her first ever BE event.

Anyone know if youre allowed to wear tophat/tails at a CIC*?
Anyone else going?
 
I thought CIC* was like CCI* as in top hat and tails are optional. Take them and see what everyone else is doing.

Good luck - I love Gatcombe so really sorry I'm not going this year.
 
Glad it has come off for you. I am sure you will have a fab time and hopefully add to the points. Then that is it for you for the year?
 
Yes, it's easier to qualify for than a CCI* which I think is a bit silly as they are much of a muchness these days.

. I think I'm going to have Friday dressage on L, Sat dressage on W, and everything else on Sunday... will be a long boring weekend by the looks of it, although S will get a train from Paddington to Stroud on the Friday night so that will be nice

. Also considering whether to leave a few days early and go to an old employer's for some dressage-polishing.

Will look out for you - I'm there Friday, but expect I'll pop up on Sunday as well for a day out as I'm local!

Should have said you needed a stable - we've got one spare only 20 mins from Gatcombe.
 
You should have siad, we did have 4 empty stables about 30 mins from Gatcombe but this weekend we emptied out all the beds, washed them out and are in the process of painting them!
