any one know of any shops in the SE that stock the riding hats im not after a skull, or if they fit the same as charles owen shape wize? i have an oval head suited to charles owen, but i fancy a change?

Can't help you with stockists, but I can tell you that I'm a 6 3/4 in all other makes, and a 7 in a Gatehouse - I like Gatehouse because of the towelling type lining (I'm allergic to the nylon type ones)

I have a CO J3 and a Gatehouse Hickstead. Dunno about the sizes though.

I also use Charles Owen and tried a Gatehouse skull cap on but it didn't fit me at all (no real surprise as I do have a weird shaped head). Now have a ProII which is fab.

charles owen used to be my best fit but started giving me headaches. gatehouse ones are better for me but would say not hugely diff in shape, ie I cannot even get a champion on my head
